ZKTeco ZK-MD6000 Pro 33-Zone Walk-Through Metal Detector

The ZKTeco ZK-MD6000 Pro is a walk-through metal detector with 33 detection zones. It identifies weapons, knives and other metal objects concealed on the body and pinpoints exactly which part of the body they are located on. It is designed for security screening at airports, metro and railway stations, customs checkpoints, government facilities, stadiums, large shopping centres and mass events.

Each zone can be tuned across up to 500 sensitivity levels, which prevents false alarms from harmless metals such as keys, belt buckles and jewellery. The unit operates in the 5.7–9.6 kHz frequency range, while the 29-inch LCD monitor provides a real-time view of the passage and records video.

An integrated thermal imaging module measures body temperature with ±0.3 °C accuracy and triggers an automatic alarm when the 37.3 °C threshold is exceeded. The ZK-MD6000S version additionally features an integrated turnstile housing, the ZKFace 5.6 face recognition algorithm (≤0.5 sec), an RFID card reader and TVOC gas detection.
